Qatar Airways Resumed Flights To Helsinki

Qatar Airways resumed three flights a week to Helsinki on July 29, making it the only Gulf airline to fly to the four Nordic capitals.When Helsinki resumes, Qatar Airways will operate 22 flights a week across the Nordic region, including a daily service to Oslo and Stockholm and five flights a week to Copenhagen

 

Qatar Airways operates a modern fleet of fuel-efficient aircraft that has never seen fewer than 30 destinations in the crisis, enabling it to adapt to the latest operational plan, accelerate the resumption of flights and reshape its global network.By optimising its fleet and grounding its Airbus A380s, Qatar Airways will be able to use aircraft with the right capacity on its Nordic routes to meet passenger and cargo transport needs while reducing its carbon footprint on the environment.

 

During the outbreak, Qatar Air Cargo carried out a large number of scheduled cargo, additional charter flights and "passenger to cargo" flights to Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Helsinki to support the Nordic region's import and export trade and to transport essential medical supplies and personal protective equipment to the region.With the Helsinki resumption, Qatar Airways will operate 39 cargo flights per week to the Nordic region, providing more than 1,400 tons of one-way cargo capacity per week.
